It is great to see that even with all the search engines out there, Scour.com is being recognized as an industry leader in social search.
A big thanks to the author, Ryan Singel over at Wired.com for writing this great article and for mentioning Scour along with all these other great search engines. It has been an excellent year for us and we are looking forward to our continued growth.
Also, as always, we are always looking to get feedback and suggestions on what you would like to see added/changed on Scour. You can also visit our feedback page to read what other users have suggested and cast your votes on the importance of each suggestion.
Lately, we have been getting some great feedback from our Scour users through our feedback system and through individual blog posts and we thought we should publicize it…
First we would like to point out that we are seeing a lot more blog posts being posted about Scour and its visa gift card recipients. A big thanks to all those Scour users who have been blogging about us and letting the public know of when they get our gift cards by mail.
One of the most recent blog posts was by our Scour user PaidOpps. This user is one of the many happy recipients of the Scour Visa Gift card. She has been a member for approximately 8 months and is getting paid for searching on the internet.
Since our original launch, we have given out thousands of dollars through visa gift cards for searching the internet through Scour. This is in addition to the $1,000 Scour giveaway which is currently active for users who are actively searching on Scour.
Secondly, we are seeing a great response to our new Scour Feedback system and we are excited to see how well all of our Scour users have adapted it. It has truly made the Scour community become more lively.
Our new feedback display allows users to post their comments and suggestions, while also allowing users to vote on what they feel are key important issues. This allows us to prioritize based on popular demand from our community.
A big thanks to all of our supporters and for those who have not tried us yet, just do a few searches and give us a try, after all its free to join and we pay you for searching the internet.
As many of you know, we are currently giving away $1,000 for searching on Scour.com and we must admit that it is going extremely well! For the month of May, our records show that our Scour members had 1,048,516 entries and one very happy winner.
Remember that everyone still has more chances to win the $1,000 Scour Giveaway. All you have to do is conduct your normal searches and Scour will award you with 1 Scour entry per search (Up to 50/day).

Since the launch of Scour, we have received a lot of helpful feedback, which is why we recently integrated UserVoice as part of our new feedback system.
The UserVoice platform allows all users to submit suggestions, vote on existing requests and submit comments. Best of all, the comments and votes can be seen by the entire Scour community.
We feel that the transparency and open communication that UserVoice has to offer is a key part in the development of the Scour community. We look forward to hearing your comments and suggestions.
