Well we still have 23 days until Spring, but it doesn’t look like it’s getting warmer for much of the country. We really can’t complain here in California, but we don’t envy our friends in Boston! BURRR!
For those of you who feel the need to ditch the snow for some sandy beaches (and that’s the vast majority of you according to travel site Kayak.com), check out Susan Breslow Sardone’s article on planning winter vacations. She guides you on finding some of the best places to visit during the month of February, how to pick the right hotel and how to make the ultimate packing list for your trip.
Travel itself can be stressful, though, even after you book all the flights and rent all the cars. How do you manage a dozen different confirmation numbers and departure gates? Well the good people at TripIt have taken care of that for you. TripIt allows you to e-mail all your travel plans (flight, hotel, etc.) and they will create a master travel itinerary that is easily referenced. Having all this information in one place will cut out a lot of the unnecessary anxiety that can dog you while traveling, and let you enjoy your trip more.
So if you feel like breaking free of Old Man Winter’s grasp, take advantage of these helpful guides and have a relaxing vacation!
